We have six hens; we&#039;ll probably be getting six eggs a day during the summer.  The brown eggs are from the two Plymouth Rocks that are about 1 3/4 years old; the blue/green ones are from the four Americanas that are about 3/4 year old.  I *think*...I guess Americanas can sometimes lay brown eggs, and it seems like we&#039;re getting a high ratio of brown to blue.  But those Plymouth Rocks are really steady layers.</description>
