• Short-tailed Weasel - a short movie about my encounter with a weasel at Point Reyes. See also my Flickr photos from that day.
• Searching for Bees: The Great Sunflower Project - a new citizen science project.
• Photos of Ben and Maddie - from our visit to them on Sunday
• Grinning Jaguar - my new domain name. On Tuesday I filed papers for a fictitious business name and business license for my new freelancing lifestyle.

In general, I’m trying to spend lots of time offline, with varying degrees of success.

A Cameo Appearance

We’re back from vacation…more on that later, undoubtedly.

I return to find I’ve made a cameo appearance in a fine film that also features my friends Tony, Mark, Goli, Marc, and Jay. Maybe others.

I also see that Justin and Stephanie are visiting some of our favorite places. We were traversing a route through Oregon, Idaho, and Nevada on this trip, but a thought that I had more than once was that we needed to get back to the Southwest before too long.
